Gankhuyag is Attending Seoul/Paris G20 Initiative Meeting
As one of the Young Global Leaders chosen by the World Economic Forum (WEF), Chief Executive Officer of TenGer Financial Group LLC and part-time advisor to the Prime Minister of Mongolia, Ganhuyag Chuluun is taking part in a Young Global Leaders’ gathering in Seoul to develop agenda for the Group of 20 summit for the next year.
The initiative was launched in June with an aim of drawing up recommendations of young civil society actors for the G20 summit to be held in France in 2011.
The project brings together more than 45 leaders under 40 years old in business, politics, academia and media from nearly 30 major economies of the world. They include the World Bank Group Asia-Pacific Regional Director Kevin Lu, Hyosung Group Executive Vice President Hyun Sang Cho, Standard Chartered Bank Singapore Managing Director Daniel Koh, Colombia Senator Juan Mario Laserna and CNN International Asia Pacific Managing Editor Ellana Lee.
During the meeting, the participants will meet, among others, Kim Hwang-sik, Prime Minister of South Korea and Dr. Sakong Il, Chairman of the Presidential Committee for the G20 Seoul Summit.
The Seoul/Paris G20 Initiative is having its first meeting in Seoul on Dec. 6-7. The meeting will be held every year in the host nation of the G20 summit.
